The long-awaited SW series debuts in the popular CALDIA with a monocoque body! A new standard of SW spinning debuts. Equipped with a large-diameter tough digital gear on a full metal (made by AL) monocoque body, it is powerful and light. This reel is produced for wide range of fishing, including popular light shore casting, SLJ-amberjack casting, and big games such as tuna casting, complete coverage of salt lure games. A waterproof structure that shuts out the intrusion of seawater and dust by creating a magnetic oil wall in the gap between the mag shield body and the rotor. Since the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining light and smooth rotation. Many of the causes of rotational noise are the intrusion of salt dust and foreign matter. Of course, there are cases where it is accidentally dropped into the water, but excluding such cases, the rotation noise occurrence rate of mag-shielded reels is greatly reduced. Moreover, this ratio is appearing in the data as a big difference as time passes after the appearance of Magshield. This means that the longer you use it, the more effective it will be. In other words, it proves that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of the mag shield are at a very high level.

CALDIA SW uses it for the main shaft. Conventional spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover and fix it with screws in several places. From this structure, aiming to further improve accuracy and rigidity, the body cover was abolished and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body to fix it to the monocoque body. This increases the gear support accuracy, and also improves rigidity and airtightness. Furthermore, by utilizing the space previously taken up by the screw, we succeeded in maximizing the size of the drive gear. Monocoque body means MONO (one) - COQUE (shell). A completely new shape that symbolizes the toughness of a monovalve shell breaks the common sense of reel construction.
