One of the most distinctive features of the Real Fish is its unique imitation of a fish affected by the parasite Anilocra physodes.

This detail is designed to imitate a fish that appears weaker or injured and therefore represents an easier target for squid. The realistic parasite imitation adds another natural visual trigger to the overall appearance of the jig.
