Duo Egimasa Kai #3.0 Normal

The DUO Egimasa Kai is the new evolution of the popular Egimasa, redesigned to deliver greater casting performance, precise depth control and a more responsive action during jerking. Its newly developed body shape improves aerodynamics during casting, allowing for longer casts and a stable posture, even when casting into a headwind.

Cloth-less Head for Sharp Darting Action

One of the key features of the Egimasa Kai is its cloth-less head, constructed from ABS. This design reduces water resistance and provides a lighter, more direct feel when working the jig with the rod.

The reduced resistance allows the Egimasa Kai to produce sharp and responsive darting movements, rapidly changing direction from side to side to trigger aggressive reactions from squid.

Shallow, Normal & Deep – Precise Depth Control

The position of the line eye has been specifically tuned for the Shallow, Normal and Deep versions, giving each model a distinct swimming and sinking behaviour.

• Shallow: The line eye is positioned further toward the rear, increasing water resistance during jerks. This produces a wider side-to-side darting action and slows the jig's approach toward the shore, keeping it in the strike zone for longer in shallow water.
• Normal: The most versatile version, designed to perform effectively across a wide range of fishing conditions and Eging situations.
• Deep: Designed for targeting deeper layers of the water column and maintaining effective control when fishing at greater depths.

Snag-less Sinker – Stable and Bottom-Friendly

The Snag-less Sinker features a flat bottom that helps the Egimasa Kai maintain contact with the seabed without easily rolling over. It also contributes to a stable posture during casting and sinking, while reducing the likelihood of snagging on the bottom.

Updated Materials for European Regulations

Compared with the previous Egimasa, the Egimasa Kai features an ABS head instead of the previous cloth-covered construction, reducing water resistance and making each rod movement feel lighter and more responsive. The sinker material has also been changed from lead to zinc, complying with European regulations and providing a more environmentally friendly construction.

The eye colour is also different depending on the specific squid jig version, making it easier to identify the Shallow, Normal and Deep models.
